About Family Medical Hypnosis!
When you come in for your sessions at Family Medical Hypnosis you will be working with highly qualified hypnosis practitioners. Denese Boyd is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Hypnotist. Celeste Hackett is a Board Certified Hypnotist and the owner of the first state licensed school in North Texas. You will be either working with one of them or another highly skilled certified hypnotist they have personally trained, are supervising and overseeing.

Denese Boyd, R.N., C. H.
 Hi! My name is Denese Boyd, and I’m a Hypnotherapist certified with the National Guild of Hypnotists, one of the oldest and largest hypnosis organizations in the world. I have also been a Registered Nurse for 26 years. I started my nursing career as a hospital nurse working in everything from the emergency room to the oncolcogy floor. I discovered Home Health 20 years ago and have been working the last seven years as director of nurses at a small Home Health Agency.
Like most nurses I started out my professional career with the expressed intention of helping people and maybe changing the world just a bit, for the better. I have not changed in that respect. I continue to desire the best for my patients. Becoming a hypnotherapist is a natural extension of this lifelong desire to help people.
I became interested in hypnosis after staying up all night with my sister, a hypnotist, as we talked about our professions and shared out experiences. That late night talk with my sister inspired me to carefully investigate the unfamiliar discipline. I knew about the mind body connection having been taught briefly on the subject in college. I did not realize how deep the subject ran or all the information available.
What immediately impressed me in my readings was how hypnosis works with the mind to help the body heal its self. I was hooked.
My sister steered me to the teachings of Calvin Banyan, founder of 5-PATH and 7th Path. I then enrolled in and graduated from the first state certified hypnosis school in North Texas. Dallas Hypnosis Career Training has given me excellent training and preparation.

Celeste Hackett, B.C.H., C.P.H.I.
My name is Celeste Hackett, and I’m a Board Certified Hypnotist (BCH) with the National Guild of Hypnotists, one of the oldest and largest hypnosis organizations in the world. I’m also a Certified Professional Hypnosis Instructor (CPHI). I started my professional life as a radio announcer (Celeste Matthews), but later became a hypnotist after feeling a growing desire to do something to help ease the pain of humanity. In other words, I wanted to help people.
Currently, as of this writing, I see up to 20 clients a week in Plano, Texas (just north of Dallas). My business has been in existence since January 2006 and I am happy to say is growing stronger each year. Some of my accomplishments in the world of hypnotism are as follows:
ARTICLES: I enthusiastically write about my journey as a hypnotist sharing information with fellow professionals on how to start and run a practice on a shoestring. My series is called The Frugal but Professional Practice.
HYPNOSIS STUDY GROUP: I founded the first online interactive study group for 5-PATH hypnotists who wanted on-going support and encouragement.
WEB TV SHOW: I co-hosted a weekly video/audio WebTV show with Calvin Banyan called “Cal Banyan’s Hypnosis Etc” with Celeste Hackett. These shows are still available on-line and offer absolutely free advanced training to hypnotists. We have viewers all over the world! STATE SCHOOL FOR HYPNOTISTS: I started the only state licensed hypnosis school in Dallas, Texas, Dallas Hypnosis Career Training.
MAYORAL PROCLOMATION: I garnered city approval from the Mayor of the city of Plano, Texas (a suburb of Dallas) for a proclamation marking January 4th as World Hypnotism day.
